Yaesu FT-4X PMR setup

  1. Select A, B or M – with VM key.
  2. Enter the frequency.
  3. Long press Function key (Fn) – key with = on left side
  4. Go in menu to 38 TN FRQ
  5. Enter with Fn 
  6. Select the CCTS code – change between receive and transmit with VM key.
  7. Go 38 SQL. Type and select TSQL (SQL must be set for every channel, there is no general setting).
  8. To save press VM longer
  9. Enter the Chanel name using keyboard T9
  10. To Save – long press VM
